The ShinyHunters threat group has added Logitech and its streaming platform Streamlabs to its data leak site, escalating pressure on the company with what it describes as a “final warning” before an alleged data leak.
The latest post, published on 18 Aug. 2026, claims Logitech has until 21 Aug. 2026 to make contact before the group releases the allegedly stolen data. The post also threatens unspecified “digital” disruptions if its demands are not met.
The threat actor’s message states:
“This is a final warning to reach out by 21 Aug 2026 before we leak along with several annoying (digital) problems that’ll come your way. Make the right decision, don’t be the next headline.”
Deadline set for 21 August
ShinyHunters has not publicly shared evidence proving the scope or authenticity of the alleged compromise. As with other claims posted to ransomware and data leak sites, the allegations remain unverified until independently confirmed.
Logitech acquired Streamlabs in 2019, meaning any confirmed compromise could potentially affect systems or data associated with both brands.
Latest addition to a growing campaign
The listing follows a string of recent posts by ShinyHunters targeting major organizations. Last week, the group claimed to have breached Baxter and subsequently published alleged data tied to Cook Medical, Carhartt, and Sharecare. BreachNews previously covered those claims in ShinyHunters Claims Baxter Breach, Publishes Cook Medical, Carhartt, and Sharecare Data.
The addition of Logitech and Streamlabs continues the group’s recent pattern of issuing public countdowns before allegedly releasing stolen data, using the threat of publication to pressure victims into negotiations.
Waiting on Logitech’s response
Logitech had not issued any public statement regarding the alleged ShinyHunters claims at the time of publication.
BreachNews will update this article if Logitech confirms or denies the alleged incident or if additional information becomes available.
